October 17th Meeting.

We had a great meeting on the 17th of October. There is always show and tell after all the announcements are made and we had several quilts to look at. Please forgive the bad photography as the were very good at dodging the camera last Monday, I guess I'll have to get more aggressive. Ann Bower had the quilt you see over Viola's shoulder that is draped over the piano. It had the neatest pieced border.
There was a beautiful 9 patch quilt. It was so precise I almost it was from cheater cloth but it was just that well made.
A new bedspread  for a grandchild.

Quilt of Valor quilt.

After the show and tell Lillian taught a class on making a Kaleidoscope quilt that was cut from 4 layers of fabric and I think three quilts were cut.  We had a good example in Lillian's quilt.
I love all the color!
This is far from complete please email me with any addition, photos, or comments and I will add them.
I'm not sure who made what and it would be great to give credit.

See you in November!
